Snowy Owl individual no. 1, eating Northern Gannet

Gooseberry Neck, west side

I saw this owl feeding on the gannet carcass just before 9:00 am and left it there, still feeding, about ten minutes later. When
I returned at 11:00 am it was feeding as well, but after about five minutes it flow off to the south end of the neck, leaving fairly
well-picked remains. I don't know if it had stayed on the gannet for two hours or if it was returning to it. The spot was well-concealed
and the bird would not have been obvious to anyone unless they were walking on some rarely-used paths or walking right down the beach.
