I took this photo while walking on the ramp to the Manila International Airport terminal
after coming off Philippine Airlines flt PR107 which had just arrived from San Francisco
and Honolulu. This airplane arrived ahead of us from Los Angeles.

Back in 1981 embarking and disembarking was done through portable staircases which are shown here.

In those days I only had a Kodak Instamatic camera and such explains the grainy image which I scanned and edited from an original 3 X 5 picture.
