The mosque next to the park

I imagine some might find this somewhat featureless building unattractive (Chris in particular ;-)), and maybe it was just the late afternoon sun, but I found it quite appealing in its simplicity. I have no idea what mosque this is except that it’s next to a pleasant park on the DQ. It was deserted, so few more pictures of it to follow.

I like it! And I really like your composition. The trees, light poles and shadows make this
very interesting. ~

I love it !! the few stark trees and the lines leading up to what looks like the minaret makes for a great shot V

I like the simplicity also! I am surprised at the lack of people.

For me the shadows make this intriguing.

I love the shadows you captured.

Fascinating plain structure - but I imagine it meets its purpose very effectively. Would be covered in Graffiti if this was in the Western world too.

Looks like a missile bunker!

actually it does almost achieve the simplicity of something centuries old in the desert, just slightly spoilt by the shiny flashing at the top....you are onto a good thing using the plainer walls for palm shadows Helen, keep working it
