The revered nine-headed Naga, a snake-god, at one end of the Spean Praptos Bridge

A similar statue of Naga is at the other end of the bridge. Both "protect" the bridge.
Naga is a deity (Hinduism and Buddhism) - takes the form of a king cobra snake.
We saw this statue and bridge while traveling in SUVs from the Sambo Village Hotel in the Kompong Thom Province to Siem Reap, Cambodia.
