This three storeies Macanese style mansion was constructed in 1894. Originally, it was owned by Mrs. Dona Carolina Cunha. In 1918, The Hong Kong tycoon Sir Robert Ho Tung purchased it for his retreat in Summer until Second World War. After he passed away in 1955 and in accordance of he will, it was donated to the Macau Government. It have been opening to public from 1958.
