All lit up

The parabolic arch at Kingdom Centre changes color about every 30 seconds, ranging from red to magenta and from blue to purple to green. This was my favorite!

I must have been an interesting sight to the people on the terrace as I tried to take this, shooting almost straight up. Having to always wear an abaya in public, I have become more aware of when I'm "exposing" myself, and I took this in a strong wind, so my scarf blew off, the very sheer fabric of my skirt was swirling (although having learned my lesson, I had black slacks, not shorts, underneath ;-)) and my sleeves fell way back above my elbows. Nothing that would cause even a second glance in any other place I've lived, but here, it definitely does. I just ignored it because I have been wanting to photograph this tower at night, and this was my chance.

That's pretty cool, Helen. Hopefully you will get other opportunities with less wind --- bad enough to have to fight an awkward POV let alone having to worry about some backward idiot taking offense to a wardrobe malfunction.
