This is the final of five images from a beautiful ceramic bridge depicting the Hijra, or migration, of the Prophet Muhammad from Mecca to Medina in 622. I had read somewhere that the color of the images themselves on the bridge changes from dark to light, representing the transition from an age of darkness to one of enlightenment. Hopefully this can be seen in the arrangement of the five images in this sub-gallery. More information on the Prophet's journey can be found here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hijra_(Islam)
