This plywood box went into the seat well of the Sienna. It addition to providing a neat storage space for things, it supported the rear ends of lids that covered the well. To the left is the front of the box.
The box was assembled with screws and home-made brackets made of aluminum L-extrusions I bought at a junk yard. Using them eliminated the need to use fancy construction techniques such as rabbets, dadoes, and glue.
