Peak Hill is 15km from this lookout. The Panasonic zoom is effective
in bringing it closer (35mm equivalent zoom is 550mm) despite the sensor noise.
The Burrabadine lookout is a 3.6km round trip from the car park - allow 1hr 30min
for the walk. The rocky track rises steadily from 540m to 720m in altitude.
The Goobang range is the last of the Eastern Australian Great Divide mountains
before the Great Plains of inland Australia start.
"The Sunlight Plains Extended" can be seen from here for sure.
