Goobang National Park - Burrabadine Peak lookout

view map

The curve of the earth is seen from this lookout - looking west over Peak Hill township.
Best seen in original - to get the full 180 degree panorama effect
The "sunlight plains extended" can be seen in the distance. The lookout
is at an altitude of 720m and the plains about 500m. The 1.8km walk up
to the lookout is well worth the effort.
