Norah and I dropped off Steve and went to the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve on Moose-Wilson Road. We planned to join the ranger led hike to Phelps Lake. Outside the center they had berry information. I didn't realize there were so many kinds of berries, which helps explain why the bears frequent this area in the late summer. We didn't see a bear on our hike, but did see fresh scat.
