This bird is one that is very predictable. He will return time and again to the same favorite perch. But also, predictably, as soon as you are within camera range he will never again return. Leastways, not until you are gone. But if he is in the area and you are prepared, sometimes it happens like this one. This particular day I was stalking the Buff-breasted Sandpiper when this fellow went into his stall and gave me this one opportunity for three rapid fires and this one turned out.
