I cannot help but think of the chorus of "Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?" a folk anthem of the depression:

Once I built a railroad, made it run
Made it race against time
Once I built a railroad, now it's done
Brother can you spare a dime?
Once I built a tower to the sun
Brick and rivet and lime
Once I built a tower, now it's done
Brother can you spare a dime?
~ Jay Gorney & E.Y. Harburg

Wikipedia writes, "The song asks why [those] who built the nation – built the railroads, built the skyscrapers – who fought in the war (World War I), who tilled the earth, who did what their nation asked of them should, now that the work is done and their labor no longer necessary, find themselves abandoned and in bread lines."

This one talks about human technology and composes a fine abstract at the same time. I like the details and textures here.

Awww, nice find Michael. Those nuts and bolts look very old and the rails look like they shouldn't be used anymore! The years of use and weather seems to be taking their toll.
