In memory of Nami, 25th October 1998 - 27th August 2013

Our precious Nami the Akita passed away today at noon.
She was eight weeks short of her 15th birthday. We called her Nami, but her full name was Izanami - who in Japanese mythology is a goddess of creation.
Nami brought us so much joy and was the best friend. She was a bundle of energy in her heyday, giving us many moments to remember.
She managed to spend summer vacation with us and came back home with us last night. But at night and in the morning she was weaker every hour and had breathing problems, so we had to carry her to the doctors and put her into sleep. She was already developing the lungs swelling.

She crossed the Rainbow Bridge and no more suffering for her, but time of sadness and mourning for us all.
