Pleasing fungus beetle (Tritoma pulchra)

Rockcliffe Park. I found this tiny beetle (about 3 mm) under a decaying polypore fungus on a tree. There must have been about 15 of them hiding under and in the polypore. You will rarely see these unless you look at polypores, for they tend to stay hidden either under the fungus or burrowing within it.
