The original Irish State Coach was damaged in 1911 by fire. The existing carriage is restored in 1989. This is a four-horses-drawn carriage.
It was used for carrying HM The Queen from Buckingham Palace to Palace of Westminster to formally open the new legislative session of United Kingdom Parliament.
