My friend, John, and I went to the Oregon Coast yesterday to get away from the valley heat. It got to 96 here at home. On the Coast, it was 65, 31 degrees cooler. After a cloudy start the sun soon came out and it was beautiful. We spent time in Old Town Florence and had fun shooting pictures there. After lunch we went to the beach at Driftwood Shores, where we were greeted with very cool weather and fog. We had to wear wind breakers. The wind was very strong, blowing sand in our faces. We had to protect our cameras. Needless to say, we didn't stay there long! This is a beach scene I got while there.
