Caligo eurilochus
Found in rainforest and secondary forests of Guatemala and Honduras
Over Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guyana down to Central Amazon,
Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia.
The wingspan of this butterfly can reach 10-14 cm.

Hi Ann: Thanks for all your nice comments as usual. No, I seldom shoot raw. I take so many images, that shooting raw bogs down my cameras. For very special still shots such as a very still wildflower or insect, I occasionally shoot raw but not often. I realize I am missing some adjustment and resolution possibilities, but for me, it is more important to shoot a lot of images to get the picture in the first place. Thanks, Lew
