June 1, 2013 -- Tracey and Ruth enjoyed the hills south of Pocatello through the morning and early afternoon, snaking between runners and careening young drivers up the South Fork of Mink Creek and onto the side of Scout Mountain. We can only hope that more of these hawthorn flowers will be pollinated than was the case on our cherries, apples, and apricots at home, because so many deer and birds enjoy the fruits.
