"Along this path of suffering and death over 300,000 Jews were driven in 1942-1943 from the Warsaw Ghetto to the gas chambers of the Nazi extermination camps".
The memorial was built in 1988.
Yellow daffodils, which became a symbol of the Ghetto fight, were brough by hundreds of people to the commemorations of 70th anniversary of the uprising in Warsaw Ghetto.

It is such a sad moment in man's history ... what's even worse is that it's been repeated countless of times since ... Cambodia, North Korea, Africa (numerous countries like Uganda, Sierra Leone etc.) ... I doubt humans are smart enough to learn from the past ... There are wars everywhere, usually in the name of religons!!!
