"Protective Mother" from April 21, 2013. Viewing these majestic birds of prey is an honor and a rarity for Central Chester County, PA.

There was at least one person with a scope tonight who was very willing to share their view.
It's really a special time in our area to view nature at its best.

All of my shots have been digitally zoomed in Photoshop; my lens just isn't powerful enough even at 320mm with the crop factor.
Still, it's fun to be there and taking photos of this special point in time.

The PA Game Commission have cordoned off the area close to the nest, but you are permitted on Gala Road to view from that vantage point.
Tonight's crowd was filled with excitement and awe. It was a fun way to spend a Sunday evening.
