My wife and I visited the Beaver Creek Nest this evening, April 21, 2013.
The late day sun makes for the best viewing time. What a crowd of people viewing this special happening this evening.
As one person said to me the other day, "it's the most excitement we have had in Gurthriesville...ever".

There was a PA Game Commission Conservation Ranger present during both of my visits today.
He told the crowd this evening that this is the most northern point in Chester County ever for an eagle nest.
There is one eaglet now feeding in this nest. Apparently earlier in the day the male brought a muskrat to the nest!
Wow, wish I could have seen that spectacle!

The trees are leafing now, so it won't be too much longer until the nest will be less visible.
However, if you are lucky you may see the parent eagles flying and bringing food to the nest.
