Easter egg hunt (3)

Every year in Budapest, we host an Easter egg hunt for the embassy community. This year because of the snow the day before Easter, we had to postpone it until today. We had 136 parents and children searching for eggs, doing crafts and meeting the Easter bunny in our front garden.

Taken after everybody had left:

Nikon D800 ,Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8G ED
1/200s f/8.0 at 44.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Love the colorful eggs scatter about on such green grass. Grogeous house you have too. I haven't seen anywhere. Are you foreign service Helen?

How wonderful to see green grass and all those vivid dots of colour. Wonderful happy image. The tulip is, of course, sheer delight. V

Oh that's lovely! We used to have a similar one in our garden, on a somewhat smaller scale, and when the precarious Easter weather allowed! Sadly the last of the grandchildren, is entering her teens now, so they are no more, for now.

It's a great tradition especially for all those children. We have this tradition too here. Here the actual chocolate eggs are hided everywhere possible and the children have to look for them. I remember when I was a child that I found one a month after Eastern, completely melted .
