Flags in the state of Connecticut have been ordered to be lowered to half mast in
honor of two Army officers being killed this week in Afghanistan. Not since the
withdrawal from Iraq began has our small state lost two soldiers in such a short time.

The flag of Ireland is on the mast since New Haven just held their annual second
largest St Patrick's Day Parade in New England.
