Forest of Dean

A good day for a forest walk with almost no one else around.
The skies were dull, it was trying to snow and it was not good light for photography. At least the walk was good.

You did very well considering the conditions. The little tree makes a nice focal point and the colours in the water are lovely.

I'm always amazed at how the beech holds on to its leaves all winter. It gives a lovly splash of colour here.

maybe the subdued light played in your favour on this one and the young beech tree with its leaves still on makes a good focal point. I like the watery colours in the water too
