A steady stream of both birders and photographers went to see the great gray owls in Ottawa at the great gray owl location. Some brought their kids who may be seeing a great gray owl for the very first time. For others it was a chance to revisit these visitors from the boreal forest, an opportunity that occurs only every 4 years or so.
