The following info was received from the Panhandle Shorebird Coordinator of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection:
"Thanks for the band resight. This male snowy plover was banded as a chick in 2009 at St. Joseph State Park (Gulf County, FL). He was observed at Marco Island 2 other times. Once in November of 2011 and once in November of 2012. He returned to St. Joseph State Park to breed during the nesting seasons 2010-2012. To date, he migrates further south than any of our other snowys. We will be watching out for him to return back to the panhandle!"
