A surprisingly complex ecosystem exists in the Mountain Ash forests of south eastern Australia.
I saw small lizards (Skinks), many butterflies, tiny birds (flycatchers and wrens).
There are also Lyrebirds, Eastern Brown snakes (some of the most venomous on Earth),
Red Bellied Black snakes and several species of dragonflies and damselflies.
