Slimbridge, Gloucestershire, UK. The structure underneath the bird is a 'duck trap' on Rushy Pen at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust reserve, originally designed to trap ducks for food it has more recently been used to trap them for ringing / banding purposes.
