Abhra's (water taxi's) on the Dubai Creek. The Creek is a salt water channel separating the two half's of Dubai, Deira and Bur Dubai. The fare to cross the creek is 40 fils (100 fils to the Dirham and 3.6 Dirhams to the dollar). This is the traditional mode of transport on the creek but today's taxi's are fast replacing them. You can hire one for a leisurely cruise up and down the creek for very little and it's a great way to spend an evening.
