About 10 days before Christmas the selling of fresh evergreen trees starts in the street markets. Christmas trees are traditionally decorated and lit in family rooms on the day of Christmas Eve or one day before.
Usually we buy spruce or fir trees.

Our Christmas trees are shipped from the northern U.S. and we have to pay dearly for them. Then, they aren't so fresh, so you pay a lot for a half dead tree. Nice to see these all so fresh and green. I bet it smells heavenly in this tree lot.
