When guests arrived, they were given a colored token and asked to fill the pews in succession. Once there was a group's worth (all with the same colored token) that group would exit the sanctuary and start the performance, leaving other guests who had a different colored token to sit and enjoy more Christmas Carols. Two different church choirs alternated singing an hour each, and musicians switched as well between piano and guitars.
