This had to be the most interesting work of art I've ever seen at Herend.

Apparently some customer commissioned this elephant to be painted with numerous portraits of the chimp in the picture, all over its body. I keep thinking our host said 30 portraits, but not sure where they would all fit. I'm wondering if it is in memory of some pet.
