Perrier and Essence-Shirley
by Shirley Haden

I can't imagine what people in the future would think of bottled water and how about essence of orange & lemon/lime to make the water a flavor. Not sweet, just a bit of flavor. I think they might find it amusing. It's really good though!

Nice shot Shirley! The other day I saw various bottles of water in a shop from a number of countries, such as Fiji, at up to $20 a bottle (for about a pint). I wonder if some people have more money than sense...

A very nice shot Shirley. I am sure that in the future water will become more precious that oil is today and people will look back and wonder how we managed to waste so much.

Very nicely done. Perrier, the premium brand of the "designer" bottled waters :)

My favorite water is spring water. I won't pay for 'drinking water' as it is just tap water. I love the water from the Lafeyette spring in Wisconsin. Chippawa Spring water comes from that spring and so do some other brands of spring water in the stores. I think it is the best water I've ever tasted. I'm a water connaisseur since giving up pop. Ha!

funny how our attitudes about things change. My daughter marvels that I could be "satisfied" with water from the tap - and consider a "special treat" water from a pitcher in the refrigerator. She does not mind spending her money on bottled water - preferably with some "flavor"

I like this composition and the treatment you applied, colour saturation, contrast...
As things are going, in 100 years a bottle of mineral water can be an expensive delicatessen .
