Café, Parisi Nagy Aruház (2)

The Parisi Nagy Aruház (Paris Department Store) building was built in 1884 and now hosts the beautiful Alexandra Bookstore, a café and an art gallery. To say I was amazed at the ceiling doesn't quite describe it.

Superb composition and framing Helen. That beautiful ceiling with the fantastic bronzed light is of course what initially captures my attention, but then the pendulous series of chandeliers lead me down to the unexpected diners. Once again well done. And yes, I noted the winged creatures.
