Triste, and his delightful wife Sibba, run a guesthouse at which we stayed for a couple days. He cross-country skied in the '76 Innsbruck Olympics (and showed us evidence) and was thrilled to have American skiers to show around. Massive bummer that he barely spoke English; he had so much enthusiasm, warmth, and stories to share. Sibba spoke excellent English, so we heard many of his stories through her. Funny was us trying to keep up with him as he SPRINTED down the hummocky hill back to the guesthouse at the end of our hike, his competitive spirit alive and well.
