I was captivated by this beautiful snow flattened grass which looked for all the world to me to be matted lion fur. In the midst of these grasses were the canals unmoving and placid with neat oxbow bends winding their way through. I tried to align the oxbow, grasses and mountains but had to wait an age for a glorious herringbone sky to drift into position.
