June 10 - Wharfery

River Wharfe, near Bolton Abbey

This is the first wet and watery shot from today’s mini Pbase meet at Bolton Abbey while still on the road. There will be more when we get home.

A fun, and sunny day out with Phillip Normanton and Colin Storey. Where lunch passed us by as we were having too much fun. Sadly, none of us fell in.

There is possibly too much detail in this view for some tastes :0)

Can't have too much detail. I like this a lot. Sounds like you are having a great time. Beautifully controlled light and colour. V

What a gorgeous spot. Lovely new greens in the trees and blue sky with the added impact of imposing clouds, perfick.

That sky looks dramatic - surprised you didn't get a soaking! Glad the day went well.

Great light and mood ... changeable weather is a great ingredient!
