Tree above the Bay

Between all of our spring storms, I found an evening to walk on the steep stairs from my home (south Surrey) down to the Semiahmoo Bay - White Rock - only a distance of 1 mile :).
This is a humungous Chestnut tree (thanks David!) towering over the pathway and Semiahmoo Bay.
I hand held this with the D800 and 24-70 Lens and am quite happy with the sharpness. Anyone who is wondering about full size, this image would be a whopping 24 x 16 with the wee bit of cropping I did. There is minimal post work done here.

Gorgeous lighting and a fine composition with this perspective down the path and the islands in the distance. "V"

A great shot of this beautiful tree! The detail is great, and the light really livens things up too! Well done.
