Clintonia borealis

Bill Mason Center, Dunrobin

As the name suggests, Clintonia borealis is native to Boreal regions of eastern North America, where it is a very common understory plant. It prefers rich coniferous and mixed wood stands, and its greenish-yellow flowers develop into blue berries.
