Doka Coffee Estate: Staff member explains how the coffee berries are picked & prepared for processing.

The Doka Coffee Estate is located in the coffee capital of Costa Rica, Sabanilla, Alajuela, on the fertile slopes of the Poas Volcano. The estate belongs to the Costa Rican Vargas Ruiz family, pioneers of coffee production for more than 70 years. The largest coffee growing farm in Costa Rica is part of this estate.
Many of the workers picking the coffee berries are immigrants from Nicaragua.
