Jericho Beach Park

adding a touch of Spring cheer to a clearing in the forested area, Flowering Currants are also an important food source for Rufous Hummingbirds returning from their winter vacation in Mexico...I waited around a while for any hummers to arrive, but no luck...the choice of lens may have contributed to that, as I has to stand too close for their comfort with only a short telephoto
