rampage

Jericho Beach Park

towards the eastern end of the pond the willows are currently leafing out...they and other trees here now have a protective metal mesh around their lower trunks, as a resident beaver has been on a tree-felling rampage...the little lumberjack has already claimed several victims

Thats rather cunning if a little unfair - they might damage their teeth! I have never seen a beaver in the wild - they have just re introduced some in Scotland. Nice picture.
