Rose chafer beetle (Macrodactylus) on dog-strangling vine

This scarab beetle is not particularly associated with milkweeds or their relatives such as the invasive dog-strangling vine (Cynanchum rossicum), but is another example of the variety of insects that seem to be attracted to milkweeds and their relatives, for perching, or waiting for prey to come along.
