We drove to the citadel and didn't climb this enormous hill, although many do that. I had been warned that it was still quite a hike from parking to the top of the citadel, but really, after the steep climb to a tower in Budapest a few weeks ago, this was a breeze. In any case, although there are several pictures of the citadel in this gallery, I thought this final view showed best just how high up it really is.
