High on the moor where the red grouse pose and the skylarks sing close by
The lapwings swoop and the snipe perform great cartwheels in the sky
Up on the hill the fields are full of little lambs at play
While in the lane the daffodils are brightening the day
And grass is shooting up where there was previously mud
It looks like Spring's arrived with the Primroses in the wood
