Special edition. For the 200 anniversary of Dickens birth
I took this when I was last home.
The author first visited Broadstairs aged 25, where he worked on The Pickwick Papers.
He returned to the town frequently until 1851, staying at his seaside residence, which has since been re-named Bleak House.
It was in Broadstairs that he found inspiration for the famous character of Miss Betsey Trotwood who featured in David Copperfield
