True Street Story

This is me during the highest local surf in years. I am talking to this lady about it for about 15 minutes. She is getting much better photos than I am since she has a 500mm lens and I have my trusty Fuji X100 with the very long 23mm lens!

So, the lady leaves and I notice another surf shooter to my right with both a Nikon D100 and a D200 with the Nikkor 28-70mm f/2.8 lens. So I ask him about the cameras and lenses and then show him my Fuji. After a while I gave him my card and moved on down the beach.

A couple days later I get a comment in the Guestbook here from the photographer with his email address. I emailed him back and thanked him and he sent me this picture! I had no idea I was the subject of this street shot!
