I was in doubt whether this fird, foraging at a persimmon tree, was a Yellow-bellied or Red-naped, but several experts all agreed on YB; a Red-naped would be in adult plumage this late in the year. I think the material at the base of the upper mandible is gum from a nearby eucalyptus.
