Low Bishopley Farm

It looks quite a nice day in this shot but it was about 5°C and blowing a hooly!
Even the sheep were sheltering from it.

Very nice landscape, fine colours and light, Voted.

Oh, 5°C, that is blooming cold. Would never have guessed looking at this sunny scene.
Colin Storey29-Dec-2011 10:41
Lovely scene on a cold and blustery day.

I can't think 5c without shivering...looks very pretty though

well the sun put on a show to match the wind...an exhilarating view on a day when you just had to be outside...V

For once, we have had a nice cool Christmas thanks to a hurricane to the north. I expect really hot weather any day now. Great light in this shot ... I have no concept of the cold!
joanteno29-Dec-2011 00:25
currently, we are getting pounded by near hurricane force winds - fortunately, the temperature is high - otherwise, this would be a nasty blizzard. Mother nature ultimately rules.

Has the delicacy of Thomas Cole paintings...another era long past.
Phillip Normanton28-Dec-2011 22:45
Ah but it looks all rustic with olde-worlde charm, so that's well worth you getting all windswept and cold :o)
Brian Samuel28-Dec-2011 22:12
Looks lovely enough to sit on that fence and while a few hours away taking in the view ... Or maybe it was better weather to wrap-up on arctic gear and fly a kite.
Shayne28-Dec-2011 22:05
well it sure LOOKS nice... great image

Wonderful light on this pastoral scene.

A very peaceful looking scene. Not sure what it was like here, I was stuck indoors most of the time.
tinkerb28-Dec-2011 21:50
I know the feeling, but at least yours looks like a nice day - it didn't even pretend up here!
chris morton28-Dec-2011 21:43
looks like the perfect day for a winter walk and surely you of all people wouldn't expect it warm!
Jackdad28-Dec-2011 21:39
at least you got some blue sky! We got rain.
Martin Lamoon28-Dec-2011 21:10
Wonderful shot of the countryside, and the touch of sun is great! V
Cindi Smith28-Dec-2011 20:32
It looks like the beginning of spring there. So, so pretty!
Máire Uí Mhaicín28-Dec-2011 20:21
That 5C windy brightness was here too, but you have succeeded in warming up the atmosphere very well in this lovely composition.
Bill Miller28-Dec-2011 19:58
It looks lovely John. But I gues the other sheep were blown away!
